Tim Murphy, Project Coordinator:

Tim has been with the project since September 2008.

He is originally from just outside Liverpool but has been living in Ireland for two years.

Tim has several year’s experience of working in services that deal with addiction both in Ireland and in the UK. He holds a degree in Psychology and an MSc Drug and Alcohol Policy.


Mary Winchester, Project Worker:

Mary has been with the project since 2006. She originally joined CDA Trust LTD as a volunteer. Once funding was secured through the NERDTF, she became a full time employee.

Mary also has several years experience of working in the substance misuse field.

She is also a qualified counsellor. Mary also holds a certificate in Auricular Acupuncture and a postgraduate qualification in counseling survivors of sexual abuse.


Frank Fitzpatrick, Project Worker:

Frank joined CDA Trust LTD in May 2010 after almost a decade working with the homeless in London.

He is a qualified Social Worker and works primarily through our Monaghan office.


Emer Jones, Administrator and Company Secretary:

Emer has been with CDA Trust LTD since 2003. She looks after our accounts and is often the first point of contact for people using our Bailieborough service.


Sid Kavanagh, Counsellor:

Sid has been CDA Trust LTD's counsellor for over two years.

He is fully accredited with the IAAAC and the IACP and also holds a qualification in certified cognitive behavioural therapy.


Mary Flood, Family Support Counsellor:

Mary Flood: BA (HONS) Counselling and Psychotherapy degree and a Diploma in Social Science. Mary has worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist both within the public and private sector from which she has gained an in-depth awareness of the struggles and challenges that are faced by many individuals.

Mary has many years experience working with individuals, couples and groups, engaging with issues such as; Stress and Anxiety, Relationships, Bullying, Conflict, Depression, Death and Bereavement, Addiction, Trauma, Low-Self Esteem, Loneliness, Personal Growth and Development, Phobias and Career Challenges


Alan Skelton, Volunteer:

Alan started work with CDA in November 2011 under the TUS scheme. He is also completing and addiction studies course.


Derek McDonnell, Volunteer:

Derek has been doing volunteer work for over two years with the CDA and supports clients accessing drop in services and the gardening project. He is also the Service users Representative for the NERDTF.


Barry Kavanagh, Organic Gardening Tutor:

Barry has been working with CDA Trust LTD since November 2008 to facilitate organic gardening workshops for clients of CDA Trust LTD.

He is a VEC accredited tutor in Cavan and Monaghan.


Frances Tighe, TúS Worker:

Frances joined CDA in April 2012 thanks to the support of the TúS scheme. She is studying for a MSc in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy.
